The Girls’ Athletic Association is one of the largest and most active organizations on our campus. GAA meets every Monday afternoon after school and is open to all girls in our school. His- torian; Cindy Williams. Publicity. The main purpose of the Future Teachers Club is to stimulate interest in teaching as a career. Each member takes part in several days of teaching under the supei vision of Mr. Ricco and elemen- tary teachers in this area. Among the fund raising projects of the Future Teachers Club were “Picadilly Week,”a donut hole sale, and popcorn ball sale. The proceeds of these projects go toward the PTA scholarship given to a future teacher. Members also attended a teaching career session at the University of Southern California. Left to Right.
