FRESHMAN CLASS FRESHMAN CLASS OFFICERS —LEFT TO RIGHT: Doreen Gulierrcz. Secretary: Marti Roth, President; Jo Shepherd,Treasurer; and Pat Davis, Vice-President. The youngest class at Hueneme High was honored during the first lull week of school with “Viking Serf Week.” During this week, freshmen were sold as slaves to upperclassmen and carried out their duties on Friday of that week. Although the slaves had to do many embarrassing things, all was for- given at the “Serf Stomp” held for the freshmen. Under the leadership of an all girl cabinet including President Marti Roth, the class engaged in many activities such as entering a car in the Home- coming Parade and holding a bermuda day later in the year. A few of their main projects, however, were drawing up of a constitu- tion and a budget of their own. 116
