18 Vorsity Football New Coach New Outlook New Year A beautiful season, wearherwise, led to an excellent season record- wise . This years' Varsity Football Team worked hard this fall to achieve on impressive 6-0 overall record and a 4-3 league record. Even though the entire season deserved congratulations, the Godwin Heights game especially displayed the tremendous unity between the ream and the crowd. All-conference honors were re- ceived by seniors Joel Smeenge and Greg Rozema and junior Chris Nyenhuis. Along with the three previously mentioned players, Steve Dyle and Pot Aten were considered to be outstanding athletes. Con- gratulations ore extended to Joel Smeenge and Steve Zocker, Most Valuable Player and Most Improved Player, respectively.
