24 Girls Swim Team Makes Waves In Cr Geld The Girls Varsity Swim team had a very impressive season. With an overall record of 9-3 and finishing second in the league proved this. Four Eagle swimmers qualified for the State Swim Meet. Michelle Lastacy qualified in 6 of the 10 events that were possible. She swam the medley relay, the 500 free, and the free relay. Michelle Baker qualified for the medley relay, diving and free relay. Stephanie Schut qualified for the medley relay and free relay. Julie Blythe qualified for both relays, and the 50 free. Most improved swim- mer was Danielle McMinn. Most Valuable went to Michelle Lastacy. Best times were recorded by everyone on the team. Team cap- tains were Michelle Baker and Stephanie Schut.
