Night Ufe During Homecoming week, the night life was both hectic and exciting. Every night brought forth the opportunity to work on the floats. At least it was possible to stand around and watch, if so desired. The spirit built all week, partly due to the bonfire of the effigy of a Comstock Park player on Wednesday night. By Friday night everyone was ready for a good game. Comstock Park was first to score, but soon after it was all Hudsie. In the second quarter, Mike Vruggink intercepted a pass, returning it for 43 yards. This set up our first touch- down. Halftime activities found the school’s royalty to be King Bob Hassevoort and Queen Pam Vander Kolk, while the Jun- iors won the float competition. The third quarter gave the Eagles 27 more points. Ray Bentley and Greg Van Geest connected for a pair of touch- downs, Bentley ran for another, while Aaron Fletcher pushed one in for our final touchdown. 8
