The first day I came to your school, I was so scared and nervous. Within a few following days I found out that I had no reason for this because all of you were from the very beginning so nice to me and made me feel home at once. I also want to say many thanks to the teachers who have been very helpful and understandable tome with my difficulties. Especially I appreciated to be called out to the football field and to get the beautiful flowers from the band. Another thing I much valued was the honor to be on the Queen's Court. These two nights are very memorable to me and I shall remem- ber them the rest of my life. The Student Council has also done much for me. Especially! want to thank them for the pretty Christ- mas present. When the day to leave comes that will be the most unhappy day of my life. I'll miss you all very much but I also hope to be able to come back some day and probably meet some of you again. I hope that if you will ever come to Finland you will visit me there. Bruce is missed by all those who knew him, for he had a ready smile for everyone. Although we feel the loss of his presence heavily upon us, we must realize that Bruce is in Heaven, with the Glorious God who called him from this earth. And after my skin, even this body, is destroyed, Then without my flesh shall I see God.
