There were 14 boys and 8 girls in the Freshman class. We held a class meeting and elected the following officers: President: Dennis DeSalve Vice-President: Dennis Kearney Secretary: Nancy Snyder Treasurer: Peggy Vargas t We gained two new students, Richard Fava and Daniel Ceiinski. The following girls were chosen as cheerleaders: Nancy Snyder, Carol Van Horn, and Peggy Vargas. EIGHTH GRADE L. to R. 1st Row: David Laird, Joe Emerick, John Jenkins, Edward Park, Pamela DeSalve, Sharon Lewellyn, and Miss Robacker. 2nd Row: Leslie Smith, Edward Smith, Joyce Nelson, Norman Woodward, Linda Gardner, Linda Butkett, and Edna Beck. 3rd Row: Gerald Feldman, Leslie Munn, Owen Emerick, Mary Gutowski, Peggy Mitchell, Sara Hahn and Shirley Viola. HISTORY Seven years ago we were busy beavers in first grade. At that time Tyler and Penfield School hada firstand second grade. During our seven years of school we have had the following teachers: 1st and 2nd Grade--Miss Askey and Mrs. Cloud 3rd Grade—Mrs. James 4th Grade--Miss Kehoe 5th Grade--Mrs. Gates 6th and 7th Grade--Mrs. Hall In fifth grade we sold seeds and subscriptions for magazines. During those seven years we had Thanksgiving and Christmas festivities, and school picnics. We also borrowedbooks from the Clear- field Library. When we became students of the eighth grade, we came to the Pen- fieldSchool. Miss Robacker is our home room teacher; Mr. Lee teaches us science; Mr. Cheslock teaches our physical education; and Mrs. Bielobocky teaches us music. --Sally Hahn, Peggy Mitchell Mary Gutowski 26
