FRESHMAN CLASS OFFICERS L. to R. Patty Plaszenski, Richard Levenduski, Robert Rucinski, and Janice Hanes. FRESHMAN CLASS HISTORY We entered high school August 31, 1959. There are 10 girls and 14 boys altogether. We had a class meeting and elected officers as follows: President - Richard Levenduski Vice-President - Robert Rucinski Secretary - Janice Hanes Treasurer - Patty Plaszenski Class Advisor - Mrs. Bielobocky During the year we gained five new students. They are Janice Hanes, Gayle Hanes, Ida May Williams, DavidRees , and Oscar McKendrick. Later we lost Ida May Williams, David Reese, and Oscar McKendrick. All of the boy s and girls wanted to be either cheerleaders or basketball players. The cheerleaders were chosen as follows: Janice Hanes, Diana Hicks, and Patty Plaszenski. The basketball players were selected as follows: Richard Levenduski, Denny Hudsick, Robert Rucinski, Richard Scanish, Tommy Guido, and John Celinski. The only activities the freshmen had this year was the selling of sweat shirts. They were warmly received by all the students. Penny Hudsick

EIGHTH GRADE L. to R. 1st Row: Dennis Kearney, Paul Blake, John Feldman, Darryl Pane, Harold Laird, Den- nis Pane, and Ronald Riccadonna. 2nd Row: Ronald Rittenhouse, Richard Maholtz, Nancy Snyder, Kathleen Snyder, Catherine Friday, Esther Park, and Nancy Park. 3rd Row: Paul Pavelko, Dennis DeSalve, Lewis Rhoads, Peggy Vargas, Carol Van Horn, Shar- Challingsworth, and Freda Bundy. HISTORY We entered first grade in the year of 1952. Our class was divided into two groups. Seven- teen pupils were taught by Miss Askey at Penfield and eleven were taught by Mrs. Cloud in Tyler. Our teachers remamcu u v. «... in the second grade. At the end of the year Maureen Benini left us. In third grade we were taught by Mrs. James at Tyler. During the year, we had a Christ- mas program and flower and vegetable seeds were sold. At the end of the year we lost Teddy Kerchner who moved to Niagara Falls, New York. Our fourth grade teacher was Miss Kehoe. During the year we sold seeds and the money obtained was used for our class picnic. There were 25 pupils in our class. In fifth grade our class was divided. Half of the pupils were taught by Miss Kehoe and the other half by Mrs. Gates. We had a Christmas play and sold seeds. In sixth grade, fourteen of us were taught by Mrs. Gates and eleven by Mrs. Mullen. The students in Mrs. Mullen's room held a class day and Thanksgiving program. The students in Mrs. Gates' room sold seeds and magazines. In seventh grade, Mrs. Hall taught half of our class at Tyler, and the other half was taught by Miss Robacker at Penfield. During the year we lost Dan Dittman and Clover Weaver. At the end of the year we lost Mary Jane DeLullo and Ricky Decker. In eighth grade, we have an enrollment of 22 eighth graders. Our homeroom teacher is Miss Robacker, Mr. Miller is our science teacher, and Mrs. Bielobocky is our music teacher. Mr. Cheslock is also our physical education teacher. Nancy Snyder Paul Pavelko
