Junior History, ContTd Selling chances on a turkey and name pins were our projects during the year. On August 31, 1959, we began our junior year. In Sept., 1959, we elected the following officers: President - John Vargas Vice-President - Charles Hahn Secretary - Teddy Walters Treasurer - Vicki McGaha During the year we lost Paula Miller and Paul Krieger, and we gained James Asalone. For our projects during the year, we sold books entitled School Daze and, also. Sloppy Joes. Christmas candy and Easter candy was sold for additional money mak- ing projects. 17 Vicki McGaha

SOPHOMORE CLASS OFFICERS L. to R. Irene Smart, Diana Maholtz, and Gail Levendusky. 2nd Row: Ronald Mitchell. SOPHOMORE CLASS HISTORY We entered high school in the year of 58 , September 2. We had a total of 14 girls and 19 boys for our class enrollment. Our first class meeting was held September 9. The following officers were elected: President - William Rice Vice-President - Carol Michuck Secretary - Diana Maholtz Treasurer - Terry Rodgers Class Advisor - Mrs. McFall During the year we gained three new students: Edith Hedberg, Ralph Park, and John Fisher. The new cheerleaders chosen from our class were as follows: Diana Maholtz, Gail Levendusky, Karen Johnson, and Carol Michuck. On October 6 a class meeting was held and the following class properties were selected: Class Colors: Blue and White Class Flower: Red Rose Class Dues: $6.00 yearly We started our present school year on August 30, 1959. We had an enrollment of 29. The girls numbered 12 and the boys 17. The loss of Bill Rice made our enrollment 28. A class meeting was held September 11. The following officers were chosen: President - Diana Maholtz Vice-President - Ronnie Mitchell Secretary - Irene Smart Treasurer - Gail Levendusky Class Advisor - Mr. Miller The fifth cheerleader chosen from our class was Lydiann Blake. She was chosen to fill a vacancy on the J. V. squad. 19 Diana Maholtz
