Junior History, ContTd Selling chances on a turkey and name pins were our projects during the year. On August 31, 1959, we began our junior year. In Sept., 1959, we elected the following officers: President - John Vargas Vice-President - Charles Hahn Secretary - Teddy Walters Treasurer - Vicki McGaha During the year we lost Paula Miller and Paul Krieger, and we gained James Asalone. For our projects during the year, we sold books entitled School Daze and, also. Sloppy Joes. Christmas candy and Easter candy was sold for additional money mak- ing projects. 17 Vicki McGaha

JUNIOR CLASS HISTORY With the beginning of our freshman year in Sept. 3, 1957, there was an enroll- ment of 33. Thirteen of these were boys and ten were girls. On Sept. 20, 1957, a class meeting was held and the following officers were elected: President - John Vargas Vice-President - Judy DeSalve Secretary - Francis Chiodo Treasurer - Paul Krieger Class Advisor - Mr. Boyer During this year, Jim Asalone moved to DuBois. We began our sophomore year on Sept. 2, 1958. Our enrollment was 19 with 11 of them boys and 8 girls. Paul Krieger moved the beginning of the first semester, but he returned at the end of the year. Vicki McGaha came at the beginning of the year. Our class had a meeting on Sept. 9, 1958, and elected the following officers: President - John Vargas Vice-President - Charles Hahn Secretary - Teddy Walters Treasurer - Francis Chiodo Class Advisor - Mr. Chiodo Class Motto - Perseverance Class Colors - Black and White Class Flower - Yellow Rose 16
