CLASS SONG Tune: Among My Souvenirs You are just a memory Of days in Huston Hi, But we'll remember thee And the years gone by. Our colors green and white We will wear so proud that night. And yellow was the rose To cheer our many woes. And friends we say farewell To you and Huston Hi, And teachers, oh so swell, In the years gone by. --Barbara Johnston CLASS POEM When we walked through The doors of Huston Hi, We had a lot of hopes and dreams For the days that have now gone by. Our teachers, we are grateful to. They taught us all we know. And now our hearts are heavy Because it's time to go. The class colors of green and white Will make our graduation bright. As our class flower we chose The delicate yellow rose. Our motto is For God and For Country . This we will strive to keep. As we go our separate ways. We'll never forget our high school days. --Judy Weaver 14

SENIOR CLASS PROPHECY Our hopes are high Our spirits, too, Here's what we'll be doing By nine-teen-sixty-two. Bruce Hicks we will fear when we break a law. When he signals, we will stop because he will be a cop. Catherine Munn, all dressed in white. Will tend to her patients both day and night. Harvey Bundy's ball, cap, and bat will take him all around, He's a real good shortstop when the ball's on the ground. We hope Joan's giggle won't make patients wiggle, When she goes to give them a hypo-needle. Laverne Van Horn we can see sailing on the deep, blue sea, Wonder if he'll remember us when he finishes at Annapolis? Judy Weaver's alto voice will make her patients rejoice, She'll be a comforting sight singing in a uniform of white. Barbara Johnston, in the future we see, A very good-looking secretary she'll be. Jess Kitchen we can see as a great mechanic, When a driver's motor fails, Jess will calm the panic. Karen Winkler we shall see teaching our children their history. Away to college she will go to become a teacher as we all know. George Friday will look pert in a bright hard hat, And when they bring a gas well in, he'll say, I helped drill that. Leslie Hutchins, a great mechanic will be. To help fix cars for you and me. Dennis Guido, a soldier will be, To help fight the enemy in case of an attack on his country. 13 --Judy Weaver
