SEVENTH GRADE HISTORY In the fall of 1951 we entered school as first graders, some of us going to Penfield with Miss Askey as the teacher, and others to Tyler where Mr s. Cloud was the teacher. We continued with the same teachers during the second year. For our third year we all came to Tyler with Mrs. James as our teacher. One of the highlights of that year was selling seeds. During the year Antionette Carpin moved to Weedville and Jack Plant entered our class. In the fourth grade we had Miss Kehoe as our teacher. In the fourth grade we went upstairs to what is now a special room. We had our first school picnic at Elliot Park. Mr s. Gates was our fifth and sixth grade teacher, with Mrs. Jameson teaching music. In the fifth grade Dallas Patterson entered our school. In the sixth grade Mary Hartle entered our school. Jack Plant,Dallas Patterson and Mary Hartle left our school at the end of that year. In the seventh grade we have Mrs. Mullen as our teacher. There are 11 sixth grader s enrolled in our room this year. Dianna Hicks entered our school this year. The honor rolls were started the first of this term. Another highlight was that on Thursday the senior class sold hot dogs at lunch time. Each time the bookmobile came we elected two librarians.
