FRESHMEN FRESHMEN HISTORY We started school on September 3, 1957. We had an enrollment of 23--thirteen are boys and ten are girls. We held a class meeting on S e p t e m b e r 20, 1957 and elected the following class officers: President . . . John Vargas; Secretary . . . Francis Chiodo; Vice President . . . Judy DeSalve; Treasurer . . . Paul Kreiger. Our advisor was Mr. Boyer. During the year we lost James Assalone. We held our first class meeting and selected the following officers: Presi- dent ... Robert Plant; Secretary . . . Dennis Guido; Vice President . . . Karen Winkler; Treasurer . . . Linda Candido. Our advisor was Mr. Martino. We began our second year in high school on Sept. 3, 1957. We had an enrollment of 11 but later in the year we were joined by Bruce Hicks to make an enrollment of 12. Our first class meeting was held on September 17 and the following officers were Selected- President . . . Laverne Van Horn; Secretary . . . Dennis Guido; Vice President. . . Harvey Bundy; Treasurer . . . George Friday. Our advisor and homeroom teacher was Mr. Cheslock. Almost everyone took an active part in basketball either as a JV player or cheerleader. Karen Winkler

EIGHTH GRADE HISTORY Our present class began as two separate classes in the first and second grades. Those students who attended Tyler school were taught by Mrs. Cloud, and those who attended Penfield were taught by Miss Askey. We became one unit in our third grade year. During this year Gerald Hauck left our class. Mrs. James was our teacher. When we were fourth grader s , two new students, John Carroll and James Plant, were added to our class. Edith Hedburg left us. We were taught by Miss Kehoe. During our fifth grade year, two more new students were added, Steve Patterson and Bill Rice. Mrs. Gates was our teacher. During our sixth grade year the spring concert was the main attract- ion. The following students joined our class this year: Pauline Kovach, Betty Pounds, Wesley Parks, Ronald Weaver, and John and Charles Rittenhouse. When we were seventh graders, we added two more students to our class role and subtracted one. George and Plummer Hartle joined us and Steve Patterson left. Mrs. Mullen was our teacher. On Sept. 3, 1957, we entered the Huston Twp. High School. We are now eighth grader s with an enrollment of thirty-four, 14 girls and 20 boys. Miss Robacker is our classroom teacher.
