SENIOR CLASS HISTORY We entered High School as Freshmen on August 31, 1953, with an enrollment of 26. We held our first class meeting on September 4 and the following officers were elected: President................................Don Chiodo Vice President................Thomas Renwick Secretary...................Rachel Woodward Treasurer . ...................Bernard Clark Advisor.................................Mrs. Taylor On September 25, 1953, the Juniors held an initiation party for the Freshmen, thus making us full fledged High School students. Later in the term when Mrs. Taylor resigned, Mr. Fenchak became our advisor. On August 30, 1954, we entered as Sopho- mores, one year closer to our goal. We had an enrollment of 24, having lost Bernard Clark and Ray Kerr. We held a class meeting on September 3, and elected the following: President.................................Ron Brundridge Vice President..............Gladys Levanduski Secretary...................Rachel Woodward Treasurer.....................Shirley Smith Advisor...........................Mr. Taylor Class Flower.......................Red Rose Class Motto.......... Nothing Without Labor Class Colors...................Blue and White On April 19 1955, the Sophomore Class held a Weiner Roast at Parker Dam. Everyone had an enjoyable time. We entered as Juniors on August 29, 1955, with an enrollment of 21. We were very sorry to have lost Tom Kephart, Ron Cartwright, and Connie Webb. We held a class meeting on Sep- tember 1, and the following were elected: President..................................Ron Brundridge Vice President..................Carol Rucinski Secretary....................Rachel Woodward Treasurer...................... Miss Sabbato Student Council...............Beverly Miller, Ron Brundridge and Charles Smith We received our class rings on December 22, 1955. As Juniors we had the opportunity to present a play. We chose Hillbilly Weddin1, which was a great success. We sold stockings, cards, stationery, and School Daze books to obtain money for the Junior-Senior Banquet which was held at the Golden Yoke on May 12, 1956. Finally, we became The Seniors on Au- gust 28, 1956. We had an enrollment of 20, having lost Gladys Levanduski. Later in the term we were joined by Anna Woodring, making a total of 21. On August 28, 1956, we held a class meeting and elected the following: President......................Ron Brundridge Vice President.................Carol Rucinski Secretary...................Rachel Woodward Treasurer ..................... Janis Munn Advisor..........................Mrs. McFall Class Flower............................. Red Rose Class Colors...................Blue and White Class Motto........ For God and For Country On December 11, 1956, we presented our Class Play, Father Goes Domestic, or A Hen-Pecked Husband. On May 1, 2, and 3, 1957, we went on our Washington trip. Every- one had a wonderful time. On may 15, 1957, we had our Class Night Program, with the entire Senior Class taking part. Finally May 19, 1957, arrived--Graduation Day. - Rachel Woodward

We entered our third year of high school on August 28, 1956. We had an enrollment of 25. During the year we gained Ronald Mullen and lost Sally Batterson. We had our first class meeting on August 31 and selected the following officers, colors, motto and flower: President.......................Mary Lou Fava Vice President..................Robert Glass Secretary......................Yvonne Renwick Treasurer........................Patty Newell Class Advisor...................Mr. Cheslock Yellow Rose Royal Blue and White Climb Though the Way be Rugged During the year we sold every day cards and presented the Junior Class Play, Desper- ate Ambrose , to obtain money for our Wash- ington trip. We also sponsored a Christmas Party for the entire school, which was a great success.
