FRESHMAN CLASS HISTORY The Freshman Class of “55-56” began their high school years on August 29, 1955, with an enrollment of 27 students, 11 girls and 16 boys. The class held their first meeting on September 1 and elected the following officers: Shirley Vargas President Jackie Hudsick Vice President Katherine Plazenski ................................. Treasurer Patty Rucinski ...................................... Secretary For our class colors we chose black and white; our flower, the yellow rose, and class advisor, Mr. Dardes. The 3 students elected to represent our class in the Student Council were Joanne Miller, Eddie Clinton, and Mickey Maholtz. Some of the students took an active part in basketball as Junior Varsity players and cheerleaders. Three J. V. Cheerleaders were chosen from our class. They were Barbara Gusherowski, Joanne Miller, and Judy Levendusky. Eight boys played on the J. V. basketball team. Shirley Vargas, Jackie Hudsick, Theresa Sadowski, Nancy Feldman and Patty Rucinski are journalism students. Patty Rucinski
