Ki A I This year there is a new addi- tion to the cheerleading family! The male yell leaders. The varsity guys arc Chris O'Brien, Bill Be- chel, and Rick VanAllen. The JV yell leaders are Brian Bornfleth, Steve Fisher and Lance Hanson. The yell leaders help the cheer- leaders with mounts and of course they cheer, too. Chris O'Brien said “male spectators cut us down for doing something they haven't tried and know nothing about.” However, everyone knows the yell leaders provide plenty of vocal power and fun. Another new item this year was the cheerleading clinic. It was of- fered to 1st through 5th grades. They worked hard, and had fun. • it I • I W f ii Raidaires “The Raidaires were much more organized this year, due to the captain and it really paid off during performances states Carrie Rollins. They have new uniforms that make activity a lot easier, and are light weight and cool to dance in. Their stylishness displays the girls at their best. “Lisa Flatt has worked extra hard to be a good leader and we think she is fully responsible for making the Raidaires the best they’ve been since 1981.” stated Michelle Hartz and Alison Florcyk. Lisa Grekoff and Andrea Iten both agreed, “It was a great year and we got along so well. The team had a hectic schedule, per- forming at the games and Pep Fests.
