Dedication Mr. Benham came to us in 1956 as our first full-time high school principal. Since then he has become an active figure in school and community life and in 1959 he was President of the Summit County Secondary Principal's Association. After graduating from high school, he served four years in the Marine Corps. He received his college education at Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, and was granted a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. He returned to Miami Univer- sity several years later and received his Master of Education Degree. Before coming to Hudson, he had had experience in education in the school sys- tems of Wayne Township at Trenton and at Yellow Springs, Ohio, where he suc- cessively served as high school teacher, coach, high school principal, and elemen- tary principal. In the midst of his busy life at our high school, Mr. Benham still finds time to give attention to the plans and problems of each student. We are grateful to Mr. Benham for the time and effort he has made in making the school better in every way. We hope that he will stay with us through the years and continue to give the school the same excellent guidance and leadership that he has over the past live years. 4
