Mr. John P. Mc Dowell has been with the Hudson School System for the past nine years . This year, be- sides beingour capable superintend- ent, he is acting principal of the Hudson Grade Schools. He is also a member of the Resolutions Com- mittee of the American Association of School Administrators. He is a man admired by all and worthy of much praise . Administration Mr. Lloyd G. Benham has aptly held the position of principal of Hudson High School for the past four years. Last year he was vice-president of the Stunmit County Principals Association and this year he was honoredwith the position of president. We greatly appreciate all that he has done for our school. 9

Board of Education The Board of Education of the Hudson Local School District consists of six very capable individuals who have devoted their time to broadening and improving our school system . Con- fronted with the tremendous increase in the student body, they succeeded in securing a sixteen mill levy and from this it was possible to increase the salary schedule of our teachers . We feel that this year, as in past years, the Board has done a very commendable job. From their sound planning Hudson can be sure of having a fine educational system.
