The hardest thing about the first few weeks at school this year was finding a parking space, it was easier to just ride the bus. Although the parking lot was full, there were still plenty of parking places left inside the school, like the window ledges and the bleachers. 95

Homecoming week was much too short. All the classes were busy working or playing around their floats, remembering other years, and trying to sneak in to see the other floats. Ready or not, they all got their floats to the parade on time, and, in spite of last minute repairs they all looked good. The Freshmen took first place with their Masters Of The Universe float, and the Seniors were second with their Snoopy float. The Tigers lost a tough game to Ida. Top left: Although the senior float Snoopy was shot down in the competition, the class will never forget working on it and consulting the Ouija board for help. Top right: The band tunes up and prepares to lead the parade. Center: Popeye on the Junior float Strong to the Finish just didn't eat enough spinach to beat out the Masters of the LCAA on the Freshman float (left). 93
