To Mrs. Oyer: The staff of the 1973-74 yearbook is very pleased to dedicate this book to Mrs. Bertha Oyer. As you complete your 18th year with the Hudson Area School system and begin a new segment of your life, may it be a very rewarding one. You have been a big help to all the students during your years at Hudson. As you progressed through the teaching of General Math, English, Latin One, Latin Two, and into guidance, you have always willfully and cheerfully helped any one who desired help. There are two elementary schools, one middle school and one high school for the 1570 young people of the Hudson area. University of Michigan accreditation was acquired in 1893 and North Central Association accredition in 1914. All schools provide hot lunch services for the youngsters and 14 buses travel ap- proximately 126,000 miles a year to bring the students to school. 9 Mr. Douglas Ferman-Superintendent
