The Drinkers and the Truckers , both of which favor the latter category played their champion- ship for the benefit of the student body, with the Drinkers emerging victorious. 17 Track 18 The track team is one of those dedi- cated groups that never seems to get their rightful share of student support, There are just too many other things going on in the spring. Tiger fans who remained loyal to the team were seldom disappointed in the efforts of the team. 19 Baseball 20 The Tigers posted a rather unimpres- sive 10-10 record for the season, but if you investigate more thoroughly you will find that those ten games they won were big ones, and led them to the dis- trict championship. 21 Don't drink the water P' warns Matt Roney as he demonstrates, with the help of John Enerson, how to make utter chaos out of a two week vacation in Europe. This was the second production of the drama depart- ment this year and the actors had almost as much fun on stage as they did backstage 24 Prom 25 26 I For those few hardy individuals who made it through the night; the post prom provided entertainment during the time which would have been totally wasted in sleep. 27 Graduation Take one class of terrified freshmen; season with four years of high school; sprinkle lightly with knowledge; place in caps and gowns and set in the sun. In a separate bowl, mix close to 200 parents, several hundred relatives and friends, a truckload of instamatic cameras, and one school system. Combine the above ingredients in the heat of the sun, and coat with emotion. Yield: one graduated class of 1972. 29 30 POWELL STUDIOS t specialists in quality We wish to express our thanks to the following businesses for their patronage, for without their sup- port this publication would not have been possible. At this time he exhibits his talents; such as singing or rolling toilet paper with his nose, for the en- joyment of the rest of the student body. This year, under the watchful eye of Mr. Cotter, the Freshmen Follies performed for King Belfy and Queen McConnell. 36 37 aGooJDS 'IA Through the diligent efforts of the drama class, Mrs. Sheely, and Marilyn Deisler, the Christmas Musical Mr. Scrooge emerged as the best pro- duction of the season. John Enerson, in the title role, won the hearts of the elementary girls as well as the senile old ladies.
