DEN WENTZ When the Past Meets the Future The leaves next fluttered D. C. way. The play, the prom, and all— The harvest now is ready. Do you hear the past call? Freshmen green, but growing We were in '58. 100 and 4 were on the vine; Each leaf did help us rate. As Sophomores, we were guilded leaves. In formals, the girls did glow. The first big dance of high school days. We all do remember it so. Onward to a J-Hop, The first, gay, ripping play— That was our first drama— Those were the Junior days. Yes, we hear it calling As we look back on this day. But we cannot dally— For the past has spent away. But now for just a moment, Let us look and shed one tear. For today, the past has met the future. God, help us and stay near. 24 by Elizabeth Foster juniors Jeffery Adams Kenneth Arsenault Charles Barnes Dennis Barron Wayne Bishop Darlene Bloomer Mary Borck Randy Borton Jerry Bow Philip Bowers
