To take advantage of his experience, he was shifted from cen- ter to left tackle, where he gained All- State honors. The strong, agressive 180 pounder also won honors by being select- ed for the first team L.C.A.A. squad. This was Glen's third year on the Tiger Varsity, and his fine attitude, leader- ship, and all round good playing will be greatly missed. Congratulations, Glen, on a job well done. GLEN MERCER Chuck, as a quarterback, has been a great asset to our team for the last four years. During the 1957 football season Chuck made 7 touchdowns and 12 extra points for a total of 54 points, helping our team toward the champion- ship. He completed 28 passes out of 40 attempts to help us gain 4 touch- downs and 428 yards against our oppon- ents. He averaged 35 yards a punt on 11 points. Chuck was chosen for first string on the All-County team and was one of two of our boys to be chosen for All-State. Chuck will be missed by all of us in the 1958 season.
