Class Hlstorq The year 1948 was a very lmportant year to us, the Semors of 1952 That was the year most of us entered hlgh school It was a new and excxtmg experzence Soon after the openmg of school, George Klrby was elected to serve as our Freshman presxdent mth Kenneth Roberts as vxce presl dent We were not engaged xn many actxvltles tlus year as xt took us all year to get used to the xdea of bemg ln hxgh school Our Sophomore year was a httle different Kohn Sherrlll served as our class presxdent thxs year and George Klrby worked wlth hlm as v1ce presldent Allied Youth, together wlth sports, took a bigger part of our t1me thxs year as most of us part1c1pated m at least one or the other Also durmg our Junxor year, a new sport was added, whxch of course was football Everyone soon be came very excxted about th1s new sport and after w e learned what was gorng on out on the fleld when everyone, xt seemed to us then, was Just runmng around we began to fully understand and engoy football We were represented on the football team by several members from the Jumor Class By the t1me we reached our Semor year there were 69 of us, plus two new students commg from other schools, maklng a total of 71 There were very few of us who were not represented rn some club BCtlV1ty All1ed Youth Monogram Club 4 H work Shorthand Club and Spanlsh Club together wlth all sports The Senlor Glrls also orgamzed a club of thelr own, the S G O This club became qulte popular durmg the year and we hope that the students com1ng belund us who w1ll be members w1ll strxve to keep the club one that w1ll rank ' tops ln our school clubs 1n the years to come Kenneth Roberts served well as our S-emor pres1dent Vkltll Kohn Sherrxll vlce presxdent Wxth the help of all our teachers and sponsors our Seruor year was made the outstandmg year of our school career Although we come to the close of the year wrth regret as well as happmess, we are lookmg for ward to the responslbllltxes and 3CtlVlt19S that are before us 4 . . . . , . . - Q . - .
