FIQESHMEN Rising from the level of grade children to the heights of freshmen in high school are twenty-nine boys and girls.. Some of these freshmen, who have joined the class, have come from country schools. Chaperoned by their class sponsor, Mr. Babcock, the freshmen have enjoyed several parties during the year. They have been represented in all the high school functions and extra-cirricular activities. Several members have participated in the musical activities of the high school. With the addition of several new members and one year of experience in high . school, the sophomores were off to a flying start. To start the school year they participated in the UBattle of the Sexesn with Harlan Buss and Mae Jean Hollis as class representatives. The members of the class have been very active in extra-curricular activities, including athletics, music, and the high school annual staff, all which helps in the co-operation of our high school. Several of the members of the class have taken part in the one-act plays presented this year. In these plays they have shown some promising dramatic ability to be used in the next two years. The class is also represented in the different clubs by having several boys and girls taking position of an officer. The sophomores have enjoyed several social gatherings together with their class sponsor, Kiss Van Skike. At one party, the girls honored the boys with a supper. They have also contributed to other social high school functions.
