CINDY WHITMAN Excellent teacher, involved, caring, humor- ous ... A few of the adjectives used to describe our thoughts of you. Those of us who were fortunate enough to have been in your class saw each of these exemplified on a daily basis. Through your “songs” and your stories, histo- ry came alive and became exciting. Your cre- ative and thought provoking presentations made social studies more meaningful than we ever thought possible. Each day you attempt- ed to make sure that we understood the mate- rial and you gave us the tools with which to decide what was important and relevant. For this, we the class of 1987, dedicate this year- book to you Mrs. Cindy Whitman. 2 3 THIS IS THE TIME TO REMEMBER 4 BUT TIME IS GONNA CHANGE To let a day slip on by Without seeing each other at all But this is the time you’ll turn back to And so will I 6 And those will be the days you can never recall This is the time to remember But time is gonna change By Billy Joel 7 8 t 9 DAYS OF HARD WORK .. . 10 i 11 ...
