After eating dinner at the Queensbury Hotel, we returned to the school for the dance and the coronation. Almost a week of decorating resulted in the most beautiful gymnasium ever. Bobby Dick and the Sundovvners played our theme, Heaven, as the many couples danced throughout the celestial atmosphere. Yellow, pink, blue and white streamers were draped from every corner and met in the center of the ceiling while tvvo sparkling col- umns marked the entrance into . . . The hours fly swiftly, and the need That presses on your fellovvman May fade away at equal speed And you may sigh before the end That you have failed to play the friend. Not all life's pride is born of fameg Not all the joy from Work is won. Too late We hang our heads in shame, Remembering good We could have doneg Too late We Wish that We had stayed To comfort those who called for aid. Take time to do the little things Which leave the satisfactory thought, When other joys have taken wings, That we have labored as We oughtg That in a world where all contend, We often stopped to be a friend.
