On the night of May 5, 1984, dazzling couples gathered at the Ramada Inn for dinner. Much to our surprise, a representative from the Georgian Restaurant presented our prom chairper- sons, April Yole and Stacey White, a check for $1000 as an apology for our not being able to have our dinner there, as we had originally planned. This helped make our class one of the richest in the school’s history! After a delicious dinner, we went to the school gym for dancing. The band Toulouse Street played our prom theme Through the Years. Relating to the theme, the gym was decorated with a mural in each corner represen- ting a particular season. A lot of hard work and planning made for a very memorable evening for all of us! 13
