It seemed that everywhere we turned, you were there to guide us. As juniors, you taught us the meaning of teamwork as we worked long hours getting ready for the prom. P.A. Staff was much more fun with your help. Many memorable plays and musicals would not have been possible without your efforts. Though it wasn’t always easy, you never gave up. Your love for teaching and concern for each and' every student have made our four years of high school more enjoyable. For dedicating so much of your time to bettering our educations and our lives, we, the class of 1985, proudly dedicate our yearbook to you, Mr. Rene Roberge. 2 3 4 To right the unrightable wrong, to love pure and chaste from afar, To try when your arms are too weary, to reach the unreachable star. 5 7 WE ARE THE CLASS OF 1985, 8 OUT OF THIS WORLD AND REACHING FOR THE STARS! 9 Days of Hard Work... Much to our surprise, a representative from the Georgian Restaurant presented our prom chairper- sons, April Yole and Stacey White, a check for $1000 as an apology for our not being able to have our dinner there, as we had originally planned. This helped make our class one of the richest in the school’s history! After a delicious dinner, we went to the school gym for dancing. The band Toulouse Street played our prom theme Through the Years. Relating to the theme, the gym was decorated with a mural in each corner represen- ting a particular season. A lot of hard work and planning made for a very memorable evening for all of us! 13 Now we, the class of 1985, go forward In pursuit of future happiness and success. May we hold dearly to fond memories, Remember that our limit is the sky, And find a future that is out of this world! seniORs MARY ALLEN Ambition: Albany Business College Pep Club 9-10, Ski Club 11, Prom Decoration Committee. The hours fly swiftly, and the need That presses on your fellowman May fade away at equal speed And you may sigh before the end That you have failed to play the friend. Not all life’s pride is born of fame; Not all the joy from work is won. Too late we hang our heads in shame, Remembering good we could have done; Too late we wish that we had stayed To comfort those who called for aid. Take time to do the little things Which leave the satisfactory thought, When other joys have taken wings, That we have labored as we ought; That in a world where all contend, We often stopped to be a friend.
