Septemler 3, 194 7 . 2). 'eat' We entered OUR GREEN YEARS as sophomores . . . .callow and timid, yet eager to try our fledgling wings ... We yearned to voice our small contributions in debate and on stage; we hoped to be accepted by clubs and chosen for teams; we looked forward breathlessly to the dances and the wonderful associations we would undoubtedly make; we dreamed of some day becoming exalted SENIORS. The next three years would be eventful ones . . . filled with happiness and learning .... our untried, youthful years ... the best years-of our lives . . . OUR GREEN YEARS.
