Four subjects minus nothing equals four subjects. There’s a moral to this that goes along these lines. Johnny Jones stormed into the Principal’s office and said,- I want to drop a subject. I can’t get my homework done, because- my classes are too close together.” Mr. Dearlove, an understanding man, stood and listened until Johnny cooled off. Then he rear- ranged Johnny’s unbalanced schedule, punctuated his classes with study halls, and dismissed him. Johnny then found that he could do the same amount of work much easier, through the effort of someone who cared. Just as Johnny was helped, so have we all been helped during OUR GREEN YEARS by our principal, Mr. Homer P. Dearlove. Above: Our Superintendent, Mr. Dana M. King, receives reports from bis efficient secretary, Mrs. Dorothy Valley. (Excellent dministratori . . . . Our guidance directors. Miss Helen Cashman and Mr. Bernard Labomr, review student records.
