Advisor, Mr. Cooksley Art, Kitty Russell Editor, Emily Norwood Aquila Preserves Memories The Aquila year began busily by moving into the new staff room. This was only the beginning of a rather fun year. The sales campaigrl was highlighted by the Aquila skit at the Homecoming Assembly. Many events of the first few weeks of school were portrayed by the staff members. There were then those surprise” birthday parties when frosting-covered fingers mingled with pictures and layouts. Another cake celebrated Mr. Cook- sley's engagement announcement. On the serious side, all staff members will remember those theme papers and assigned bulletin boards. Panic always struck when deadline dates ap- proached. The coming of summer vacation only meant many more hours spent in the Aquila room. Every effort was utilized to present a pleasing yearbook to the student body for the year '63-64. Photographer, Sam Smith Senior Class, Sue Trullinger Soph, and Jun. Class, Carpj Wgtgrj
