The annual girl-takes-boy dance was held in our cafetorium on April 13. Tolo days were Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and were climaxed by a kangaroo court on Fri- day. Candidates for Tolo king were Eddie Gayle, Denny Kiggins, Ken Cordon, Jim Car- roll, and Phil Garr. The theme for Tolo was Carnival Capers and at the dance Jim Carroll was crowned King of the Beasts. Mary Ellen Bork crowns Jim Carroll King of Beasts. Girls do tasks for boys. Jo Haralson and Don Piele perform before Kangaroo Court. THE ROYAL COURT: Marleen Kays, Denny Kiggins, Julie Power, Phil Garr, Mary Ellen Bork, Ken Andrews, Jim Carrol, Karen Pittman, Eddie Gayle, Carol Bachman, Ken Cordon, and Sharon Thorstenson.

Our first all school play was The Little Dog Laughed.” It was presented on April 4, 5, and 6 in the drama department. Hav- ing no auditorium the play was presented arena style which suited the character of the play very well. The leading roles were taken by Barbara Ludwig and Fred Kulick supported by a superb cast.
