As the leaves fall into place we see Buddy Craghead now the owner of one of the most promising businesses we have ever seen. He is the proud owner of a flourishing chain of restaurants. Reese Witt also has a promising business in farming. He is supplying Buddy's restau- rants with his Grade A farm products. He has come up with one ofthe greatest products ever, the Sankatator. And what is this we see on the adjoiningfarm? Why it is the former Emma Spradlin, tend- ing to the cattle while her husband is working in the tobacco field. In her spare time she is busy teaching the teen-age girls in her community the latest dance steps. We now see Ruby Wildman, one of the greatest medical technicians since 1959, mixing one of her famous formulas guaranteed to make anyone giggle. Well now, Wallace Laughon has stepped up quite a bit. He is now driving a bus for the great Greyhound Bus Lines. Oh, I forgot, they don't have govenors on them. Mrs. Carl U. Wheeler, the former Shirley Howell, is a housewife with one set of twins, two Sylvesta cats and one husband. She spends 12 hours a day watching T. V. And who but Norma Ayers can do commercials that aren't corney? She is quite busy advertising between innings of the Milwaukee baseball games, in which Willis Mitchen is the star player. They all quiver in their boots when he comes to bat. We see that Wayne Witt and Arlene Wood are just returning from the ballgame riding in Wayne's latest invention the Zoomobile, on which he has made millions. Scheduled to be telecast after the ballgame is a woman wrestling match, the star is none other than Thelma Brooks. She got her start by portraying the part of awrestler in the Junior Play while she was in high school. The Professor of Duke University, Bobby Ferrell, has his own spot on television giving talks on Safety tips for school bus drivers. Herbert Jones is the top Pepsi salesman at Jones University. He does his big business during the milk break. ' Just look who is the manager of Carlyle's Service Station, none other than the former Fern Creasy. It looks as if she has quite a promising business. Now who could this be coming in that baby buggy ---- oh pardon me, it's a foreign car and the driver is the old speed demon himself, Cecil Krantz. Jesse Fifer is still a playboy. He is now operating a studio in Hollywood, California. In his spare time he works on typewriters. Phyllis Newman is now giving speed lessons in typing since she is the well known typing instructor at Phils Business College. We see Margaret Eubank as assistant manager of one of the biggest department stores in the state of Tennessee. Eula Lacy is her head saleslady in the Ladies Wear department. The tea leaves are slowly changing their position, we now see former Lucy Overstreet keeping books on the latest experiments of the Technician, Ruby. We see that Ruby's guaran- teed giggling formula works because she has Lucy giggling. We see Edgar Mitchell and his wife trying to break into his dad's shoes, by selling elec- trical appliances. Luther Lemon has teamed up with George Gobel, and they are starring in 3 T. V. come- dies each week. Every one is looking forward to seeing him in his latest comedy GOOD MORN- ING MRS. ASHWELL. Speaking of show business, we see Vesta Murphy as the star of the Grand Ole Opera. She is singing her latest hit, Look a Thar. As I said before the tea leaves are slowly changing their position. It seems as though they are not going to let us gaze any farther into the future, so we must start planning for it and hope that we do the best thing. 20 fast will Anti Zestament We, the Senior Class of 1959, assuming that we are of sound minds aildgood j1idgem'ent,tdomake our last will and testament as follows: J 0 bequeath to Mr. Darneifwhaf femme of me senoo1,nffa14?1sn rormhtwgisgdigf body and soul, for he shall surely need it now that the good class hasegdnget illasthe faculty we leave many thanks for their patient guidance, and a bottlexof X Gekitol so that they can recover aiter running themselves dowm trying to keep up with ,q . it 1 ' A hereby will without reservation the worrisome days andtortured nights of live up to the record of the class of 1958.
