MEMORIAL On behalf of the students and faculty, and that long line of students to follow through the years, countless yet unborn, it is my Singular privilege to accept this plaque in honor of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and to proclaim the reference division of our Library the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Section of the Hubbard Library. I hope that it will become the tradition at Hubbard that the thought and works of Dr. King will become the concern of every student who attends Hubbard, for Dr. King was not only a great American , he also belongs with the giants of the human family. He dreamed the greatest dream of all--brotherhood, peace, justice--and he lived ac- cording to his dream. I hope that we here now will dedicate ourselves to his ideals, and, by the way we live and work and play together, as one big Hubbard family, we will ever come nearer to making his dream come true.
