MISS ANNE SCHMIDT - Physical Education Pretty blue eyes, warm smile....a real personality....interested in bettering her bowling score....a real athlete....liked by all who know her. MR. CHARLES REMONDELLI - Social Studies Likes all students and detests three button jackets....hobbies include music, golf, tennis, and touch football.... he may not agree with what you say, but he will defend with his life your right to say it. MR. WALTER SCRIVENS - Social Studies Great sense of humor....likes to bowl....dislikes sneakiness....always seems to be near a window when teaching....former navy man....''settle down'' followed by a banging ruler. MR. RICHARD ROUNTREE - Industrial Arts One of our more athletic teachers....a real speedster....remember that football game....likes bowling....Southern drawl spoken very quietly can be deceiving.... means business. MR. JAMES SGAMBETTERA - Science Claims to be even tempered --some of his students may think differently....likes tennis, music and reading....former Marine....hears wedding bells. MR. JERRY RUSSO - Social Studies His hobby is sports, soccer in particular, played three years in college....likes cartoons especially 'Popeye'' and ''The Roadrunner '....detests commercials on IIe MR. CRAIG SLACK - Mathematics Football, Stony Burke and loafers with white socks are his favorites....doesn't like the New York Giants and pesty ninth graders....beganhis Masters work in February.. ..''come on kiddies ’....has a seventh grade following. MISS BEVERLY SAVAGE - Social Studies Born and raised in Maine....likes bowling, horseback riding, swimming and tennis.... spent six weeks in Russia during summer....to interesting people she says ''da da, to cabbage she says ''Nyet''. ' MR. ROBERT STAVE - Math and Science New England product....yearbook would have been impossible without his photographic help....working toward his doctorate at Columbia....''why can't students be interested in school!

GEORGE FRIEDLANDER - Civics With his rare sense of humor is constantly told by his associates that he's in the wrong business....an avid sports enthusiast....he is always wondering, are there no jails, are there no workhous es? ' MR. LEONARD JENGELESKI - Science Mr, Jengeleski is from Penn....a graduate of the University of Maryland....would like nothing else more than an undefeated basketball team. MRS. CATHERINE GRITMAN - Social Studies Mrs. Gritman, was once going to beanarchaeologist....born in Brooklyn....a gradu- ate of Wagner College, impressed with the mentor phase of teaching at Hubbard.... plans are to remain in the field of education, MRS, HAZEL LASSEN - Physical Education She enjoys all sports, mainly tennis....she also enjoys gardening and traveling..... wearing hats is a great bother to her....''a stitch in time saves nine. MISS ODETTE HADDAD - Languages With her quick sense of humor she makes Spanish fun....dislikes broken bones (especially the right collar-bone)....another pet peeve is television commercials.... ..is usually heard saying ''please be quiet''....likes Norton Nork. MR. AMOS McCALLUM - Mathematics Born and raised in Maine, as his accent gives away....his hobby is model electric trains, however he isn't always too careful with them (ouch my finger)....blushes easily....''figures don't lie, but liars do figure. 4 BL ea srererpseegs HET a Soya Ss sppssetoees MR. SYMAN HIRSCH - Civics, English Athletically inclined....Mr. Hirsch is a holder of P.H.S. 's coveted Athletic Honor Plaque Award for baseball....a graduate of Moravian College of Bethlehem, Pa., and is married,...collects pencils and pens left in class and has quite a collection. MR. EDWARD MODZIE - Mathematics Has his hands full of audio-visual aids or books....quick sense of humor....difficult to interview (was he really born in Russia???) MISS CAROL ANN HUMPHREY - Art Enjoys all phases of art, meeting new people and working students....dislikes getting up in the morning.,..''wasting time makes a lazy mind. MRS.
