November 12 1954 THE WHITNEY WILDCATS THE HUBBARD IAGUARS At least 2 000 people wrmessed the most spectacular game of the season as the mxghty Hubbard Jaguars defeated the Whitney Wrldcats 19 to 14 The first few plays put the Hubbard fans to sweatmg as Whrt ney took a Hubbard punt in tts own end of the freld and ran all the wa for a touchdown in the opentng seconds of the game Immedrately followmg this they set the Jaguars back ln their own end zone thus giving them an 8 to 0 lead in the frrst quarter The determined Jaguars came back and drove 61 yds to paydxrt The rest of the game the Jaguars played up top ball and were rewarded wrth the vlctory of the game ls,
