GRIDIRON SEASON HUBBARD 6 KERENS 25 The Kerens Bobcats scored first on a pass from the 15 yard line. The next touch- down was the reseul of a 20 yard run. Another score resulted from a Hubbard fumble. The Bobcats scored their other touchdown on a pass. Brown scored the only Hubbard touchdown on an end sweep. HUBBARD 38 ABBOTT 0 Neither team scored in the first half. In the second half, Hubbard came back to take the game. Brown made the first tally on a punt return. Fadal converted the point- after. Brown scared again and Walker scored in the third quarter. A pass from Down to Land made the next score. Simmons made the next score and Walker made the final score. HUBBARD 6 ITALY 'I Hubbard scored first on a pass from Simmons to Land. The Italy Gladiators scored and converted the point-after. HUBBARD 0 STATE HOME 20 The Jaguars met the State Home Laddies on the local field and played on equal terms with them except on end runs and passing. The Jaguar line played outstanding ball throughout the game. HUBBARD 6 DAWSON 12 The only Hubbard touchdown in this game came on a good run of 40 yards by Gerald Greenhill. Dawson scored both of their touchdowns on passes. HUBBARD 37 FROST 6 Gerald Greenhill and Jerry Simmons made the first twotouchdowns fa Hubbard in the first quarter. A pass from Larry Land to Jesse King scared the third. In the second quarter Jerry Simmons made two touchdowns. Larry Land scored the final Hubbard toudr down. The Polar Bears scored in the third quarter. HUBBARD 14 MILDRED 30 Brown and Greenhill scored the Hubbard touchdowns in this game. Johnny Fadal converted the point-after. Mildred alternated its air and land attack to rack up 30 points. HUBBARD 0 BYNUM 12 The Jaguars played the best game of the 1952 season against the Bulldogs. Garry Bowman and James Spencer played outstanding ball in the line and Robert Scott, W. D. Brown, Gerald Greenhill, and Jerry Simmons were outstanding in the backficld.
