LeRoy Greiman, Charles Brauer, Robert Brink, Director. As some of the members of the beginners' group have been advanced to the regular band, there are now only 12 in it. However, this group will go to Ashley on April 12th also and will play with beginners' group from other schools. GIRLS' CHORUS There were Zl girls in chorus this year. Eunice Rommelman was the accompanist. The first program which we gave was at the County Teachers' Institute at Nashville on October 19th. We sang three numbers there. ' VVe participated in the school Christmas program. On April 4th we were entered in the District Contests at Highland, and on April 12th we sang at the County Music Festival at Ashley. Grades also lost to Bonnie 25-28. 9-High School lost to Beckemeyer 52-44. 13-High School lost to Trenton 51-33. Grades beat Trenton 37-13. 15-American Education Week Open Ho-use. The Dramatics Club gave Orchids for Marie. 16-High School beat Ina 52-31. Grades lost to Nashville 29-20. 17-High School beat Ashlev Frosh-Soph 47-29. 19-Pie and Box supper given for benefit of the band and annual. 20-High School lost to Odin 29-26. Grades beat Odin 15-13. 21-Began our Thanksgiving vacation. 26-New ping-pong table arrived and was put to use. 29-State inspectors gave our school the once-over today. 30-High School heat Updvke 41-38. Grades lost to Carlyle 24-25. 4-High School beat Belle Rive 49-30. Grades beat Irvington 52-20. 7-High School beat Waltonville 49-41. 10-High School lost to Bonnie 46-60. Grades lost to Bonnie 24-16. 17-High School lost to Okawville 26-28. 20-High School lost to Patoka 47-36. Grades beat Patoka 28-26. 21-Xmas program was given and more important, the Xmas vacation began. 2-First day of school in 1946. 3-Grades lost to Nashville 36-18. 4-High School lost to Opdyke 43-23. 4-Alfred Greiman and Iohn Hines submitted the winning name for the annual. We'll call it the Hoyletonian. 7-Grades went to Irvington and won 44-16. 9-High School beat Keyesport 60-37. Grades won from Keyesport 29-27. 11-High School lost to Patoka 45-36. Grades lost to Patoka 25-11. 14-High School lost to Okawville 38-56. Grades beat Ashley 33-24. 15-Cap and gown measurements. 17-18-Oh. unhappy days.
