Freshman History The class of '47 consisted of 13 pupils. Then Io Callahan left Hoyleton early in the fall of '45, and Marvin Kasten dropped school because of illness. Seven of the remaining eleven pupils come from the parochial school. They are LaVerne Michael. Norma Stahmer. Marie Unverfehrt. Le Roy Maschhoff. Roger Brinkman, Robert Brink, and Marvin Haake. The other four came from our public school. They are Dorothy Hongsermeier, Robert Berleman, Eymer Nebe. a11d Keith Klosterman. Robert Berleman and Elmer Nebe were the only Freshmen on the basketball squad. All the pupils except Bob Berleman, Le Roy Maschhoff and Elmer Nebe are in our school band. CAN YOU IMAGINE ??????
