Mr. Jim Davis took over the helm as Hoxie High School principal in 1975. Throughout those nine years at Hoxie High School Mr. Davis listened. The discipline ne enforced was not cruel — it was sure. During Mr. Davis’ administration, aca- demics became more important and good grades were emphasized. The willingness to experiment was another strong characteristic of Mr. Davis. The welfare of the student was uppermost to him. Mr. Davis was loyal to his teachers and the student body. Both teachers and students felt the security of his sup- port.
