Down the Yellow Brick Road Traveling along the yellow brick road on their way to see the Wizard of Oz (Stephe Ramer) are Coward- ly Lion (Marty Gilbert), Scarecrow (Tim Coulter), Tinman (Zack Kauk), and Dorothy (Data Harwerth). They are huddled in fear when the Wicked Witch (Susan Schaffer) threatens to rob Dorothy of her ruby slippers. The remaining characters are Uncle Henry (Gary Bainter), Aunt Em (Margaret Kaus), Glenda the Good Witch (Peggy Peters), Growlie (Steve Oelke), Munchkin Mayor (Darin Richmeier), Munchkin Barrister (Juanita Kaus). The Tornado Dancers, Flying Monkeys, Citizens of Oz and Guards are Brenda Bainter, Jan Frazey, Mary Gilbert, Shelli Gosser, Mary Beth Hinger, Karen James, Kim Kauk, Lisa Kauk, Melinda Kirby, Daresa Lewis, Doug Lewis, David Neff, Brenda Richards, Teresa Richards, Cherri Sager, Susan Selbe, Chris Sewell, Steve Sewell, Dan Taylor, Russ Taylor, Sherri Wagg. Jeff Gumm directed the production and Cindy Schnelle was the accompanist. A special thanks goes to Mr. Barnes for building the sets, Cheryl Schwarz for choreographing the dances, and Sharon Gumm for doing the costuming. Who'd think a little girl like you could destroy my beautiful wickedness? cackles the witch (Susan Schaffer). Guards (Doug Lewis and Sherri Wagg), Dorothy (Dala Harwerth), Cowardly Lion (Marty Gilbert). Tinman (Zack Kauk), Scarecrow (Tim Coulter), look on in horror as the Wicked Witch slowly melts. Now they can take the witch's broom to the Wizard and hopefully he will grant the Scarecrow a brain, the Cowardly Lion a medal for courage, the Tinman a heart, and Dorothy a way back home to Kansas. 12
