Mejico On May 26, 1976, 20 HHS stu- dents and five sponsors were off to Mexico in a bus. On this trip the group experienced a plane ride from Mexico City to Oax- aco. While there they enjoyed the ruins at Monte Alban, the Tule Tree and black pottery. They stayed in the finest hotel in Acapulco, the Acapulco Prin- cess. They saw the cliff divers and swam in the Pacific Ocean. The bus broke down in the little town of Eguall which had no hotels or motels, so they slept in a Dodge Garage. In Mexico City they were not able to see the bull fights but did experience some- thing they never could back home, an earthquake. Other places they visited were Monter- rey, Ciudad Valleys, Taxco, Chilpancingo, and Saltillo. On June 11, they were happy to be back in Hoxie. Looking ai the black pottery made by hand in Oaxaca.
