Twirp Queen Pam and King Keith. Jukebox Jive My name is Nicky. These are my lovedolls! The gang on the ole '57. Twirp Day Friday, March 25, was Twirp Day at Hoxie High School. Spon- sored by F.F.A., F.H.A., and Kayettes, the theme for the day was the Fifties.” Many students and faculty had a lot of fun car- rying out the theme by greasing their hair back like the Fonz, rolling their jeans up, and wear- ing bobby socks or poodle skirts. The Twirp Dance was held in the gym that night. Music was provided by disc jockey Tom Nichols, from KNBI radio. The Twirp King Keith Kennedy, and Queen Pam Best were crowned at the dance along with faculty King Richard Brook and Queen Judy Bink. Everyone liked the music and really enjoyed the dance. 'Tyrone” has a girlfriend. All the boys like Charlene. Everyone enjoys dancing. 18

Spring Tea Ladies from the LTCU were guests at the Tea. Lucille Zodrow models the outfit she made. Pop’s Choir sang for the entertainment. The presidents make speeches for the last time. Senior Melanie Cooper receives her rose. Deb Robinson concentrates on modeling. Mothers and daughters enjoyed the tea. Elaine Wente models the outfits she made for herself and her two cousins. 19
