Homecoming festivities began October 7, Thursday night, as enthused students met at Prickett Son's lot for the annual bon- fire; Seniors won the Spirit Olympics. Friday, Pep Club painted up the football team as Injuns, fol- lowed by a Pep Rally held down- town. There the class floats were judged, giving the first place title to the Junior class. Friday night the Hoxie Indians were defeated by the Saint Fran- cis Indians during the last ten Tom’s mind is in other places. seconds, making a final score of 7-0. During halftime ceremo- nies, Donna Roster and Rick Shipley were crowned King and Queen. Stuco sponsored the Homecoming dance held after the game in the student room. Music was provided by a disc- jockey from KAYS radio. Saturday morning the parade was held on Main Street, carry- ing out the Bicentennial theme. Alumni Program was Saturday evening in the high school gym. Pep Band provided music at the Bonfire.
