Dave Schamberger takes Dave Winter works for a fall and went on to place third in State, down McGowne of Oberlin. GRAND STATE FINISHERS: David Schippers with a 23-3 record took first in Regional, first in State, and Third in Grand State. Dave Schamberger posted a 17-8 record and placed fourth in Regional, first in State, and second in Grand State. Randy Farber tries an escape to win the match 2-1. Heavyweight John Mosier pins his man in Regional as he compiled a 15-6 record. B-TEAM: FRONT ROW: Brian Pfiefer, Brent Pfiefer, Steve Shipley, Ed Heim, Jeff Spillman, Mgr. Boys Do Girls Start Basketball The Indians had eight wins and 13 losses and fin- ished in sixth place in a strong NWKL. Oakley took league and first in State. Senior lettermen were Larry Spresser, Terry Davis, Pat Roster, and Dan Wente. Juniors lettering were all league Mark Niernberger, Brick Prickett and Ken Eland, and Sophomore Rick Weber. This was the first year of girls BB and they had 1 win and 14 losses. Lettering were Rose Weis, Karen Heim, Carol Meitl, Carol Thompson, Stephanie Kliewer, and Cheri Heim. Terry Davis was also voted as co-captain. Larry Spresser averaged eight points a game. Brick Prickett fires in a jumper for two of his ten points a game average. Pat Koster was voted co-captain of the team. Mark Niernberger out jumped about everybody on the tip offs. 30
