That force is known to us all to be the Spirit of ’76.” It is a SPIRIT OF LIBERTY and the knowl- edge that one man’s freedom is more important than anything else on earth. It is the SPIRIT OF FROS- TIER — of not fearing to go where man has not reached. George W asliington Alexander Hamilton James Madison John llaneoek It is the SPIRIT OF INDIVIDUALISM — acknowledging a birthright of opportunity and freedom drawn from the strength of our fathers. Indeed the SPIRIT OF ’76” was, and is, many things, each of which has been a building block of our national greatness. Our country grew' on that spirit and prospered on that spirit.
