whiny is Wark Hand Our school is very proud of the achievements of the Senior Band. For the last five years it has received a superior rating in both the district and state compe- titions. This fine record is an indication of the con- scientious work put forth by the director and students. The band is composed of approximately sixty five stu- dents, ranging from the ninth through the twelfth grades. Many of these talented bandsmen intend to further their musical education and enter into a pro- fessional career. Throughout the year, the band is ac- tive and plays at many concerts, parades, and social functions. Often requests from neighboring communi- ties are received asking them to perform. Through their many appearances away from home, they have achieved a reputation for excellence in performance. We hope that the band, under the guidance and lead- ership of Mr. Alexander, will go on to win even more honors and continue to be a credit to our school. 0 long As We 5141 Mr. Alexander directs the band members who are earnestly working toward the perfection of a new number.
