This year Howland's seventy voice A' cappella included fifteen seniors. During the year the chorus performed at Packard Music Hall, in the operetta, in the district music contest and at school assemblies. Mrs. Polley is the director, and Elaine Venen and Nancy Escott are the accompanists. The Triple Trio consists ot nine girls chosen by Mrs. Polley. Ac- companied by Elaine Venen, the group has sung tor assemblies, church programs, th e district music contest, and commencement exercises this year.
