The Hi-Y meets on Wednesday evenings and discusses problems which face young people today. There have been joint meetings with the Warren clubs and also panel discussions. The Howland Hi-Y sold salt water taffy again this year, and organized a basketball team which played teams from other Hi-Y clubs. The Hi-Y purpose is to create, maintain, and extend throughout the school and community, high standards of Christian character.
